Nigerian singer and songwriter, Teni Apata, has challenged her colleague, Tiwa Savage, to a physical fight, prompting a brief but direct response from the award-winning Afrobeats star.
Teni issued the challenge in a video shared on her Instagram page while speaking about the earnings of Nigerian musicians and the expensive lifestyles of some male artistes in the entertainment industry.
In the viral video, the Uyo Meyo crooner directed her challenge at Tiwa Savage, declaring that she was ready to fight her and would apologise afterwards.
Teni also questioned how some male Nigerian musicians could afford luxury cars, including expensive automobiles such as Bugatti, amid discussions about artistes’ earnings.
Speaking in the video, Teni said: “Let’s fight, me and Tiwa Savage next, I’ll beat you enter bush, me that I’m already angry, I won’t even look at your son Jamal face, 1 billion. You’re wondering how your male colleagues are buying cars, etc if they pay us 1.5 billion, you can buy Bugatti. Mama, let’s fight… I will beat you to the point, I’ll beg you later.”

The Somebody’s Son crooner told Teni to choose a date for the proposed fight, replying: “Pick a date.”
